As the Sun reaches its sacred still point, humanity is invited to gather in a shared moment of remembrance, renewal, and new beginning.
On the June Solstice, Solstice Unites opens the field for a global movement of peace, unity, and compassionate action. Through an Indigenous-led, synchronized global ceremony, we follow the sun, pass the light, honor the ancestors, and renew our sacred responsibility to Mother Earth and all life.
This Solstice also marks the launch of World UNITY Week and the beginning of the 99 Days of Peace Through Unity through the Compassion Games: Survival of the Kindest.
From June 21 through September 27, people, teams, communities, and bioregions around the world are invited to turn prayer into practice, compassion into action, and shared intention into measurable impact.
Together, we gather in ceremony.
Together, we move into service.

On June 21, the June Solstice, we gather for a powerful global beginning: June Solstice Global Ceremony: Follow the Sun.
This is an Indigenous-led synchronized global ceremony for peace, unity, Mother Earth, and all life — launching Solstice Unites, opening World UNITY Week, and beginning the 99 Days of Peace Through Unity through the Compassion Games: Survival of the Kindest.

June 21 | Global Online Gathering | Follow the Sun Around the Earth
Guided by Hereditary Chief Phil Lane Jr. and Indigenous leaders from around the world, communities will pass the light from region to region through prayer, song, story, ceremony, reflection, service, and shared intention.
Together, we will honor the wisdom of the ancestors, ignite the Eighth Fire, and open a 99-day journey of compassionate action from June 21 through September 27.
A Global Synchronized Ceremony Following the Sun
As the sun rises across Oceania and the Pacific, communities begin gathering in ceremony, prayer, music, storytelling, reflection, service, and collective action.
From there, the light is passed around the Earth as people gather across regions, cultures, time zones, and movements.
This global ceremony is connected through the Global Fire Ceremony Room inside One World, creating a living planetary flow of participation. Each region is invited to receive the light, contribute its own gifts and wisdom, and pass the light onward.
The purpose is not rigid coordination.
The purpose is conscious connection.
A New Beginning for Peace Through Unity
The June 21 Solstice marks A New Beginning — the shared theme for World UNITY Week and the Compassion Games: Survival of the Kindest.
The ceremony opens World UNITY Week and launches the Compassion Games as 99 Days of Peace Through Unity, inviting people everywhere to practice compassion in action from June 21 through September 27.
During these 99 days, communities around the world are invited to play, serve, heal, restore, and unite — caring for one another, protecting life, and strengthening the bonds that make peace possible.
This year, we will also ceremonially light the Eighth Fire as a shared symbol of peace, unity, reconciliation, and humanity’s right relationship with Mother Earth and all life.

From the June Solstice to the December Solstice, One World Rising is a living journey of ceremony, song, and unity—rooted in Indigenous wisdom and rising through our global network of networks.
On September 27, we gather for the first-ever Global Powwow on the Great Lawn in Central Park—hosted by the Ramapough Munsee Lenape Nation in partnership with Global Citizen and OneWorld.Earth—an historic moment in our shared journey.
Together, we restore balance within ourselves, with each other, and with Mother Earth.
What Is Solstice Unites?
Solstice Unites is a decade-long sacred movement bringing humanity together through ceremonies on each solstice — a living prayer to honor Mother Earth and renew our collective spirit.
Rooted in Indigenous ancestral wisdom and gifted to all people, it fosters bioregional resilience, cultural celebration, and a shared commitment to healing and unity.
The movement began on June 21, 2025, with the Solstice Ceremony for Cleansing, Healing, and Reciprocity — a sacred gathering to honor the Earth, heal historical wounds, and restore right relationship among all peoples. From this launch, Solstice Unites continues to weave connection, learning, and inspiration between ceremonies — engaging communities, storytellers, artists, and changemakers across the planet.
Through initiatives like the Earth Bank Fund and Earth Pass, Solstice Unites also brings reciprocity into commercial systems, empowering humanity to restore Mother Earth with every act of exchange.
