About Solstice Unites
A Sacred Gift for All Humanity
Solstice Unites is a ten-year global ceremonial movement (2025–2035), offered as a sacred gift by the Ramapough Munsee Lenape Nation and other Indigenous wisdom keepers to humanity. It is not a festival or performance—it is social medicine for the world.
Together, we gather on the summer and winter solstices in a circle of remembrance, honoring the Earth, our ancestors, and our shared future.
Our Mission
To unite humanity and restore Mother Earth through sacred gatherings, cultural renewal, bioregional collaboration, and collective action. We do this by synchronizing ceremonies across the globe, amplifying Indigenous leadership, and inviting everyone to participate in the sacred work of renewal.
The Dandelion as Our Symbol
We are inspired by the dandelion, nature’s first responder. Just as its seeds travel on the wind to restore soil and spirit, so do our ceremonies and intentions travel across the globe to plant hope, healing, and unity.
Why the Solstice?
Solstices are sacred thresholds—moments when the sun pauses and the Earth breathes deeply. By coming together on these days, we re-align with natural rhythms, renew our purpose, and remember what it means to live in balance and reciprocity with all life.
A Historic Beginning in 2025
Our journey began in a Jubilee year—celebrating Amsterdam’s 750th, New York City’s 400th, and Los Angeles’ 175th anniversaries. These three cities, once bound by the tides of colonization, became the compass points for reimagination and renewal.
From the first light over Amsterdam’s waters, to the midday sun blessing Manhattan, to the firelit prayers in Los Angeles, the inaugural Powwow kindled a sacred flame—a flame now carrying us through 99 days of peace through unity.
This journey will culminate on Day 99, September 27, with a historic Global Powwow in partnership with Global Citizen on the Great Lawn of Central Park, gathering the world in song, dance, and shared prayer for the Earth.
